Any organization of any type, size and sector of economy, including governmental and academia, implementing or promoting principles of Circular Economy can participate in the Award. Applicant organisation should have offices or operations with a valid trade license in any of the six GCC countries namely Kingdom of Bahrain, State of Kuwait, Sultanate of Oman, State of Qatar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates.

Only Circular Economy Award - Organization has three levels of recognition as per the levels of maturity of implementation of Circular Economy. These are distinguished with three different symbols.

- Highest level of maturity

- Middle level of maturity

- Lowest level of maturity

Yes. Eligible organization is welcome to apply for one or more categories in the same Award cycle.

Yes. Eligible organization is welcome to apply for multiple submissions within a particular category in the same Award cycle.

For each application fees are
Circular Economy Award – Organization, AED 5,250 inclusive of 5% VAT.
Circular Economy Award – Pioneering Practice, AED 4,725 inclusive of 5% VAT.
Circular Product/Service Recognition, AED 3,675 inclusive of 5% VAT.

Fees includes an invitation for three representatives for each application to attend the Circular Economy Conference and Award ceremony.
For each application fees received, AED 150 will be invested to support in Circular Economy projects in the GCC such as building competencies, upskilling, research etc.
For in-person assessment of the applications received from outside the UAE, lodging, boarding, travel incidental expenses will be charged extra subject to prior agreement with the applicant.

Fees is to be paid in AED through wire transfer.
Details will be provided in the invoice which will be sent after receipt and acceptance of the Registration form.

Deadline for submitting the registration form is 31 October 2024.

Assessments will be conducted during month of December 2024. You will be notified about 1 week in advance and planned at a mutually convenient date/ time.

Assessment will be done by competent Assessors in teams of two and may take about 2-3 hours to half a day only. It may be done either remotely or in-person as per need and convenience.
For in-person assessment of the applications received from outside the UAE, lodging, boarding, travel incidental expenses will be charged extra subject to prior agreement with applicant.

You don’t have to make any extra preparations. Based on your submission, Assessors will seek extra information, clarifications if needed, request for sample documents to verify information provided in the submission. Award office will inform you of the likely list of documents Assessors would like to see. Award office will notify you in advance.

Assessment may take about 2-3 hours to half a day only.

Outcome of the assessment will be communicated to the applicant organisations in January 2025.

Yes. Circular Economy Award program is not a competition. It is based on applicant receiving the qualifying scores. Each applicant that achieves the score defined by the Award criteria is recognized and is presented the Award. In one category multiple organizations can be recognised if they meet criteria.

A trophy made of sustainable materials and a certificate of recognition. Organisations recognized can display Award logo on their web site, marketing materials etc. Organizations will be required to apply the logo as per the guidelines provided by Award office.

Award ceremony will be held along with Circular Economy conference. Ceremony will be held in month of February 2025.

Circular Economy Conference and Award Ceremony 2024 will be held in the UAE. To select the venue we will give preference to service providers who adopt principles of circularity and sustainable practices.

Three Award participants per application” write “Three representatives per participating organization.

No. There is no separate fees for attending the ceremony. It is included in Award registration fees.

It will be announced 3-4 weeks prior to the event.

No. Recognised organisations cannot display Award logo on their products. However they can display Award logo on their web site, marketing collateral, social media.

Feedback report will be provided soon after Award ceremony latest by March 2025.
